Rostre.ai Terms of Use (MVP)

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Rostre.ai (“Rostre”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
By using the service, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge that Rostre.ai processes data as described in our Privacy Statement; you should review it alongside these Terms.
2. Description of Service
Rostre.ai provides a platform for running AI agents within user-controlled workspaces, including integrations with third-party systems and services.
The service is currently offered as an early-access MVP and may be incomplete, unstable, or subject to change.
3. Early Access Disclaimer
You acknowledge that:
- The service is in active development
- Features may change or be removed at any time
- The service may experience downtime or data loss
- We provide no guarantees of reliability, availability, or performance
Use the service at your own risk.
4. User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for:
- All activity within your workspace
- The configuration and behavior of agents you deploy
- Any actions taken by agents on your behalf
- Data processed, stored, or transmitted through the platform
You agree not to use Rostre.ai for:
- Illegal activities
- Unauthorized access to systems or data
- Abuse, interference, or disruption of the service
5. AI and Agent Behavior Disclaimer
Rostre.ai enables autonomous or semi-autonomous AI agents.
You acknowledge that:
- AI-generated outputs may be incorrect, incomplete, or misleading
- Agents may take unintended or harmful actions
- Results should not be relied upon for critical decisions without verification
Rostre.ai is not responsible for outcomes resulting from agent behavior.
6. No Professional Advice
Rostre.ai and its agents may generate content that appears to provide guidance or recommendations. Such content is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional advice.
You should not rely on outputs from the service as a substitute for professional judgment. You are solely responsible for evaluating and verifying any information before acting on it.
Rostre.ai is not responsible for decisions made or actions taken based on outputs generated by the platform.
7. Integrations and Third-Party Services
Rostre.ai may integrate with third-party services (e.g., GitHub, AWS, APIs).
By using these integrations:
- The platform may process content you submit through third-party AI infrastructure (for example, services provided via AWS Bedrock), as further described in our Privacy Statement.
- You grant Rostre.ai permission to act on your behalf within those systems
- You are responsible for permissions and access granted
- You are responsible for any actions taken using your credentials
We are not responsible for the behavior, availability, or security of third-party services.
8. Bring Your Own Credentials
If you provide API keys, tokens, or credentials:
- You retain full responsibility for their use and security
- Rostre.ai is not liable for misuse or unauthorized use of those credentials
- You should use least-privilege access wherever possible
9. Data and Security
We take reasonable measures to protect data but do not guarantee absolute security.
You acknowledge that:
- Data transmission over the internet is not fully secure
- You are responsible for the sensitivity of data you choose to use with the platform
10. No Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”
WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING:
- MERCHANTABILITY
- FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
- NON-INFRINGEMENT
- ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF OUTPUTS
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- ROSTRE.AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
- THIS INCLUDES LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED:
- THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE LAST 3 MONTHS, OR
- $100 USD, WHICHEVER IS GREATER
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the service at any time, with or without notice, including for:
- Violations of these Terms
- Abuse of the platform
- Risk to infrastructure or other users
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict of law principles.
